Video Interview: 'Bunheads' star Sutton Foster previews her new show airing June 11th on ABC Family

Broadway darling and two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster is heading to television as what else, a dancer. The actress is teaming up with "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman- Palldino to star in the new ABC Family drama  "Bunheads." Sutton plays a Las Vegas showgirl and dancer who has kind of lost her way. Looking for a better and more fulfilling life, she marries on a whim, moves to a small town with him and somehow ends up working with her domineering mother-in-law to run the local ballet school. The two end up forming a bond that neither expected.

Michelle sounds a little like Sutton, who for the past few years has commanded the Broadway stage. The actress appeared in such Broadway classics as "Grease," "Annie," "Les Miserables,"  "Shrek The Musical" and the musicals that earned her her Tonys,  "Anything Goes" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie."

Joining Sutton is a talented cast of actors including Kaitlyn Jenkins, Julia Goldani Telles, Bailey Buntain, Emma Dumont and Kelly Bishop as Michelle's mother-in-law Fanny.

Spotlight-On-Entertainment talked to Sutton where she talked about coming to television and explains to us exactly what a "bunhead" is.

"Bunheads" premieres on ABC Family on Monday, June 11 at 9:00pm ET/PT.
